 Roadrunners History

The Roadrunner Softball Organization was founded in 1986 by Bob Hamacher.  The objective then, as well as today, is to further the talents and aspirations of young ladies who wish to continue interests in fast pitch softball by learning to play at a higher level and by playing against a higher level of competition.  This organization is committed to creating an environment where each girl can reach her athletic and academic potential while striving to become a caring, productive member of their community. Coaches, as well as parents, are working to help these young ladies flourish and hopefully prepare them for a possible scholarship and college education.

The Roadrunner Softball Organization has qualified for the 18U ASA Nationals in 11 of the last 13 years, with seven top 25 finishes and four top 10 finishes (2004 - 3rd, 2003 - 7th, 1996 - 9th, and 1995 - 5th).

Since inception the Roadrunner's record is 1197-394-8

We finished in 13th Place at the 2007 18U ASA Nationals, are the 2005 and 2006 18U Arizona ASA State Champions, and the 2007 18U ASA Rocky Mountain Region Champions.
